Arnica Extract Oil

An oil commonly used in homeopathic medicine, it's made from the yellow-orangish perennial Arnica flower, a native plant often found in the mountains of North America as well as Europe, India, Russia, and Japan.

Arrowroot

A tropical, starchy tuber root vegetable native to Indonesia. It's commonly ground into a flour or powder and used in cooking or cosmetics as a natural thickening agent. A gluten-free and corn-free alternative to regular wheat-flour and cornstarch.

Benefits: Contains Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium.

Avocado Oil

An edible oil extracted from the pulp of avocados.

Benefits: An absorbent oil that helps to moisturize, strengthen, soothe, and smooth skin. A natural antioxidant rich in Vitamins A, D, and E– it can aid in increasing collagen metabolism.

Beeswax

A natural wax formed by honey bees that's formed into cells for the storage of honey and for the protection of their larvae.

Benefits: Historically beeswax has been used as a lubricant, waterproofing agent, polishing agent, casting agent, artistic medium, and in cosmetics.

Calendula Infused Oil

A natural oil extracted from marigold flowers. Calendula Oil has been used medicinally since the 12th century in Ancient Roman, Aztec, and Mayan civilizations.

Benefits: Helps to calm muscle spasms via prevention and relaxation, heal wounds, and treat certain skin conditions. It's also known to improve skin firmness and hydration by increasing blood flow and bringing oxygen to the skin. Has antifungal, antiviral, antrimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

Castor Oil

A thick, odorless oil made from the pressed seeds of the castor plant. This oil and its uses dates all the way back to ancient Egypt.

Benefits: Rich in fatty acids, it moisturizes skin and has anti-inflammatory properties. Castor oil also contains Vitamin E and has antibacterial properties.

Coconut Oil

An oil derived from the kernels, meat, and milk of the coconut palm fruit. Commonly used in cooking, cosmetics, detergents, etc.

Benefits: Rich in saturated fats that help to moisturize dry skin and reduce inflammation. It also has antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties.

Jojoba Oil

A gentle oil extracted from the nuts of the jojoba plant. Molecularly though, this oil is technically a wax.

Kukui Nut Oil

Oil extracted from the nut of the Hawaiian Kukui Nut Tree, also known as the Candlenut tree. The name Candlenut comes from the fact that the oil used to be used as a lamp oil.

Benefits: Deeply moisturizing fatty acids hydrate and improve texture and decrease water loss through the skin. A natural antioxidant with Vitamins A, C, D, an E that protect, repair, and soothe.

Lanolin

A waxy oil extracted from sheep's wool that's been spun through a centrifuge machine which separates oil from other chemicals and debris. This oil is secreted by the sebaceous glands. By using a centrifuge on sheered wool, there is no harm to the sheep in the collection process. It's a staple in many cosmetics for its conditioning and moisturizing properties.

Mango Butter

A topical butter cream made from the fat of the mango seed.

Non-Nano Zinc Oxide

A natural mineral sunscreen that creates a UVA and UVB-blocking barrier.

Non-Nano Zinc Oxide's particles are larger than one hundred nanometers, thus, the larger particles lay atop ones skin rather than penetrating the skin and being absorbed into one's bloodstream. Oil from the pomegranate fruit.

Squalane Oil

A colorless and odorless hydrogenated form of Squalene, which is a lipid produced naturally by your skin cells, whose production slows in one's 30s. It can also be found in various animal and plant cells.

Benefits: An excellent emollient, it is a non-greasy and natural antioxidant that fights skin damage and free radicals. With anti-inflammatory properties, its noncomedogenic properties won't clog pores and are suitable for most skin types.
