SPF 15 Lip Balm

1. Shea Butter: Extremely moisturizing due to its high fatty acid content, it helps to balance the skins natural oils while soothing with its anti-inflammatory properties. It's also a natural antioxidant rich in vitamins A, E, and F.
2. Beeswax: Forms the foundation of our lip balm, beeswax provides a natural protective barrier that helps retain moisture, while still allowing your lips to breathe comfortably.
3. Mango Butter: Provides intense moisturization and helps to protect and repair skin with its anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a natural antioxidant with Vitamins A, B6, C, and E. It's smoothing and moisturizing properties also add a luxurious feel to the balm.
4. Avocado Oil: An edible, absorbent oil that helps to moisturize, strengthen, soothe, and smooth skin. A natural antioxidant rich in Vitamins A, D, and E– it can aid in increasing collagen metabolism.
5. Jojoba Oil: A gentle oil that helps to keep skin moisturized and has antibacterial properties. A natural antioxidant with Vitamin E that helps skin fight against damaging free radicals.
6. Non-Nano Zinc Oxide: Helps to protect ones skin against the sun's damaging rays. Protects against sunburns and helps to prevent skin cancer, sun spots, and premature aging. Because Non-Nano Zinc Oxide is a natural mineral-based sunscreen with larger particles, it is also safer than chemical sunscreens that cause environmental damage. It's larger particles make it safe for both marine life and coral reefs.
7. Lanolin: Helps to soothe dry and dehydrated skin due to its extreme hydrating properties.
8. Vitamin E Oil: Helps to protect ones skin cells from damage by fighting free radicals. It also creates a natural barrier to prevent moisture loss, thus softening skin and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Natural Mineral-Based Protection: A white tint after applying KOBEE'S SPF 15 Lip Balm is normal! In order to keep KOBEE'S with all natural ingredients but also protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays, we use Non-Nano Zinc Oxide which is a mineral-based, reef-safe sunscreen. Chemical-based sunscreens may apply clear, but at the cost to you and your health and aquatic life.

Not Just For Lips: While our SPF 15 Balm does help protect against the sun, we recommend using a body SPF lotion for larger areas of your body to make sure you're fully protected– it will help preserve the longevity of your SPF 15 Balm too! In a pinch though, you can use it on other parts of the body to help protect against UVA and UVB rays. *External use only. Please do a patch test before applying to other areas of the body.

To Extend The Life Of Your KOBEE'S SPF 15 Lip Balm: KOBEE'S Lip Balm tubes are made from compostable cardboard, so naturally some wear and tear are to be expected. Please note that extreme heat and direct sunlight might cause the beeswax to melt some product into the compostable packaging. Once cooled off again, the balm should harden.

• Marine-Life & Coral Reef Safe: Our SPF 15 Lip Balms are made with non-nano zinc oxide. Due to the non-nano zinc oxide being larger than 100 nanometers, the particles are too big to be absorbed by coral reefs, cannot be ingested by marine-life, or harm water-habitats.

Don't Let Size Fool You: Our Lip Balms may appear shorter than traditional plastic lip balm tubes, but they hold the same amount of nourishing product! The unique chubby shape of our tubes allows for an efficient push-up feature rather than twisting to make it easy to use every last bit! Just Squeeze: While we love our compostable cardboard containers, but sometimes they can become loose in transit. Simply squeeze the bottom of your cap or you can even smack the bottom side of the cap on a corner edge until it warps. This should create a more snug fit on your lip balm tube.

1. Remove The Label: Remove the KOBEE'S label on your Lip Balm tube.
2. Soak In Water: Soak the empty Lip Balm tube in water to help soften it.
3. Cut It Up: Using scissors, cut up the tube into smaller pieces. This is important in helping to speed up the breakdown process if not being added to commercial compost!
4. Add Pieces To Your Home Compost: Take the moist, cut-up pieces and toss it into your home compost or bury it in your garden! You can also bury the pieces into a potted plant, but just note that it will not break down as quickly as it will outside or inside your home compost.
5. Have Commercial Composting: Simply remove the label and toss it into your compost bin!
